Jeff Smith, the creator of the acclaimed series Bone, and most recently did a Shazzam miniseries this year, is back with a new comic series which hit comic book shelves this week. It's a sci-fi adventure and you can read more about it in 2 interviews I found online.

Taimur,
Great post on Jeff Smith!
I spent the last hour reading both of his interviews.
In the first interview on the history of BONE, I got a great deal on insight into his background and how he came up with the idea of BONE, who were his influences, etc.
One interesting bit of information, apart from BONE, I found out that there is a Cartoon Research Library now at Ohio State. I went online
and bookmarked it.

The Cartoon Research Library
at Ohio State University
It's a fantastic place. They have one of the largest repositories of original comic strip art in the world. It's all taken care of beautifully. And when Jeff Smith graduated from Ohio State University, he gave the Cartoon Library all The Lantern comics (comics he drew for the Ohio State college newspaper when he attended there in the early 80s) and his BONE art. One of Smith's comics' strips for The Lantern was THORN, which eventually became BONE.
Good work and info!

Taimur,
Concerning the second Jeff Smith Interview on his new comic series,
RAZL--do you know if it is "actually" out yet? I have not been to a comics
store for 10 days. Let me know if you know.
RAZL's premise sounds amazing!
